Breatheband is a new and innovative product, it has a unique filter medium with a fluid resistant outer layer. It is incorporated into the welded cover in the form of a strip or "band". All Breatheband products are fully welded but uniquely they allow for the flow of clean air into and out of the product. Because 99% of bacteria clings to particles over 6 microns in size, the breatheband filter is designed to block the passage of particles greater than 1 micron in size.

Breatheband interiors are made from state of the art pressure relieving visco-elastic materials and premium fibres. Breatheband offers greater protection against contamination (including strikethrough) and cross - infection than other bedding products currently on the market.
